Update and Best of the Blogosphere: June 2012

Wow, June has been a really cool/crazy month! If you haven’t heard (and at this point I’m pretty sure everyone on earth has heard whether they give a crap or not), I got engaged this month out in Colorado!

That wasn’t the only exciting thing happening this month. I also spoke at the TBEX 2012 event in Keystone Colorado. It was nerve-wracking but fun. Mariellen from Breath Dream Go did a lovely write- up of my session. The entire conference was great and Mike and I are already planning ot make it to TBEX Spain in September.

Here’s what else is going on:

#EatTheWorld- our twitter chat last month was a HUGE success! Turns out people love to talk about food and travel. We’re running another one on Monday July 2 at 3 PM EST. Head over here for details and to RSVP.

And of course you can still buy our awesome app to take food suggestions with you wherever you go.

Travel Plans: Things are slowing down in July, which I can definitely appreciate after the last few hectic months. On Friday Mike and I are headed up to New York to cat-sit for my best friend while she gallivants around Iceland. After that we’ll be spending some time in Pennsylvania and DC with the families. And I guess we’ve got this wedding to start planning…

Dave’s roller coaster post was hilarious. I guess that is one thing us Americans have on the Kiwis. They’ve got all this gorgeous land, we’ve got roller coasters! (And gorgeous land)

So honored to get an honourable mention here, Steph! Even though I’m no longer a twenty-something by numbers, I’m a twenty-something at heart!

    Congratulations again on your engagement.
