Friday Postcard: Easter Island Sunset
Posted on 03. Aug, 2012 by Steph in Photos

Today’s Easter Island photo comes from awesome Ali Garland of Travel Made Simple (Ali incidentally also has a pretty good travel blogger love story herself). About this photo she says:
One of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen was here because the sun went down over the water behind a row of Moai statues. It was an amazing island, and being able to see that sunset was just incredible.

Ahu Tahai! The only place to see a sunset on Easter Island… that’s what locals told me! I watched the sunset there one night, but it was too cloudy. At least I had good company and some pisco sour… it was as good a sunset as any!
