Sony Reader Giveaway Winner Announced!

Last week I invited everyone to participate in Sony’s Reader Getaway Giveaway! Contestants submitted postcards from their dream locations which mentioned the book they would take on vacation.

The winner of the $10,000 prize is still being vetted, but I can announce my personal choice. This person will receive their very own Sony Reader Pocket Edition to gallivant around the world with.

It was tough, there were a lot of great entries. But in the end the clear winner was Melissa D.

Gilligan’s Island

Greetings from the tropics! Finally reached Gilligan and his island. Everyone here is great … turns out they weren’t stranded on the island after all; they fixed their ship but liked the island so much they stayed. Now they use the boat to give rides to the natives. Brought Treasure Island to read; natives love it. Learning to make tropic drinks w/ coconut milk and rum. Plz send Sony Reader!
