Friday Postcard: Tanzania
Posted on 20. Aug, 2010 by Steph in Photos
About 50 km South of Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, is a pristine coastline of white sand beaches mixed with rugged rock formations. You can rent a villa or apartment for a decent rate and enjoy the peace and quiet of the serene environment. In the morning fishermen walk the beach with their morning catch offering the freshest of seafood. Even though this Indian Ocean haven is close to the hustle and bustle of Dar Es Salaam, it’s a peaceful escape and a relaxing paradise!

great photo! I love the idea of fishermen walking down the beach selling fish they just caught an hour earlier – ideal!
