Friday Postcard: Coast of Greenland
Posted on 07. May, 2010 by Steph in Photos

So as you may remember from the classic movie D2:Might Ducks, Greenland is covered with ice, and Iceland is very nice!
Iceland in summer is gorgeous and only a little snowy. When I happened to glance out the window as my plane home passed over Greenland however, I saw more ice than I’ve ever even imagined. At 30,000 feet above the ground the thick rivers and mountains of snow stretched as far as the eye could see. It was a gorgeous bonus after my trip to Iceland.

That is indeed very nice. I actually have photos of Greenland too. I would love to go there some day.

Me too- it sounds like quite an adventure! For now though I’m dreaming about warmer destinations.

Hi Steph,
Whenever I mention that I’ve been to Iceland, people say, Greenland is icy and Iceland is green. All I know is that it snowed on August 31st when I was in Iceland… But, yes, it was very green as well and extraordinarily gorgeous.
