I’ve never been in winter but I have seen it from both rims and I do thinks the North Rim is more interesting.

While I think the Grand Canyon is beautiful, I think there are two ways to enjoy it even more: Visit in the winter when it's covered in snow and go to the North Rim, where there are fewer people and the scene takes on a whole different look. .-= JoAnna´s last blog ..Agritourism at Finca el Cisne | Copan Ruinas, Honduras =-.

Somehow I’ve never made it to the Grand Canyon (despite a few trips to Arizona), but your picture convinced me even more that I need to go! It’s so close, yet so far away…

I know what you mean! I took a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon a few years ago, and it felt more like a motion-simulator ride than real. It's just such a dramatic landscape, it's hard to believe it's real. .-= Gray´s last blog ..So This is Mofongo =-.
