Friday Postcard: Budapest, Hungary

Maybe it’s kind of macabre, but I love seeing relics. The body parts of various saints were scattered all over Budapest; from St. Stephen’s dessicated hand to various fingers to this fellow. The plaque was in Hungarian so I’m not sure who the original owner was but I really liked the presentation.

I loved Budapest. I arrived planning on spending two nights but stayed for five. Great nightlife, beautiful architecture, and the Budapestian spas were absolutely brilliant!

Yeah I really liked it too, hoping to get back and see more of it at some point!
