As usual there is plenty going on in the blogging world this week, as well as in the life of Stephanie in general.
Last week I got to attend the first DC Travel Happy Hour organized by myself and Dave from Go Backpacking. It was my first attempt at meeting any other travel bloggers in real life and it was really nice to put some faces with names. People seem to think blogging is a solitary pursuit, but with the advent of social networking nothing could be further from the truth.
I’ll get the chance to meet even more of the travel blog community, including the good people over at Sosauce next month when I head up to New York for a rousing bout of travel karaoke. I’ve already started practicing…
Next week is Thanksgiving here in the United States. I will be taking advantage of those
vacation days from work and heading off to London for a week. This will actually be my third out of the past four thanksgivings spent in London (add in the fact that I’ll be on my RTW next November and I really am a failure at this holiday). I’m really psyched to give my passport some much needed exercise, see some old friends and spend some time in my favorite city in the world. Next week I’ll my posts will be London themed as I try to share with you some of my favorite things about the city.
Here are some of the great travel posts from the past two weeks:

- A Little Contemplation…Readjusting to a Dose of Reality-Coming home and adjusting to stationary life is just as challenging in some ways as deciding to take off in the first place. Shannon of A Little Adrift shares her experiences readjusting to life after her RTW trip.
