Wednesday Postcard: Siem Reap, Cambodia
Posted on 30. Sep, 2009 by Steph in Photos
Today’s postcard comes from Andy Hayes of Sharing Experiences. Of this photo he says:
“I snapped this National Geographic-ready photo while on a boating tour of the Tonle Sap Lake near Siem Reap in Cambodia. The lake and its surrounding rivers are filled with many of Cambodia’s poor, who struggle to survive in filthy and unhygienic conditions. Despite this, they were all cheerful and happy to see us (knowing any tourism dollar is a good one) and were super-friendly, just like all the Cambodians we met.”
