Mosque at Pocitelj, originally uploaded by StephYo.

Pocitelj is the oldest artist colony in Southeastern Europe, originally founded in the 1300’s. During the Bosnian War it was the cite of brutal bombing and extensive ethnic cleansing. It has been rehabilitated and now is once again an artists colony and tourist attraction. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
