In Case You Missed it Links

It’s been a busy couple weeks here at Twenty-Something Travel. Traffic has been steadily growing (this was our biggest week yet!), Twitter has been up and running, and my first guest posts went up at Maiden Voyage and Andy Hayes blog. Additionally my post on How to See Budapest for Almost Nothing, was included in the Carnival of Cities Blog Carnival on Happy Hotelier. Twenty-Something Travel is not that old so it is exciting to see the progress that has occured over the past couple of months.
While I’ve been up to all that, here’s a collection of great articles you may have missed:
- 8 things I wish I’d known when I was 22- This is actually not new but it was so relevant to this site that I really wanted to share it. From Christine at Almost Fearless.
- 6 Reasons Living on the Road is a Good Option in a Down Economy from Boots’n'All Travel Community. All very true and encouraging!
- Budgeting for the Return Trip Home- I mentioned this in my series but Daniel at Two Go Round the World offers some really sensible advice on this topic.
- Are You “Hyperforeign”? Stop It. Seriously.- an article on Vagabondish on why travel shouldn’t make you an asshole.
- How to Be a Better Mooch- from Travel Budget Magazine
- Is Full Time Travel an Act of Withdrawal?- a rumination from The Professional Hobo on whether traveling means engaging with, or retreating from, the world.
- Dare Me! – David Lee’s new FREE e-book on some of the crazy things he did on his trip around the world.
By the way, if you follow me on Twitter you can get the first scoop on all these articles in real time.
And of course remember to check out my guest posts across the interwebs:
- Great Destinations for the First Time Traveler at Andy Hayes awesome site Sharing Experiences.
- How to Make Friends at a Hostel on Maiden Voyage.
