Okay I know these books are meant for little kids but I spotted them at the library last week and I would love them for my coffee table (if I had a coffee table, which I don’t because I am a loser).

Aren’t they cute? Amazon says:

M. Sasek must have been a busy guy as there are about a dozen of these books: This is Rome, This is New York, This is Hong Kong etc. For some reason I found this particularly amusing:

If I knew any little kids I would certainly buy one for them, but as I don’t I’m just going to get This is London for myself and look over it with the same childish wonder that I first looked at the city itself.
